Minnesota Crookston Tidbits
The Golden Eagles opened up the 2019 slate last Sunday against Michigan Tech University. Minnesota Crookston held the Huskies to nine shots on goal despite a 2-0 loss. The Golden Eagles had strong signs defensively as they limited Michigan Tech throughout. The Huskies were able to get past as they capitalized on key chances. Minnesota Crookston's big focus moving forward will be getting forward as they look to build off their solid defensive play and capitalize on scoring chances. The Golden Eagles had just two shots on goal in week one and will look to improve upon that statistic going into this weekend.

Paige Pettit (Sr., D, St. Michael, Minn.).
Jessica Withrow (Jr., MF/F, Gardnerville, Nev.) also had a shot for Minnesota Crookston that was blocked in a key spot for the Golden Eagles.
Defensively,
