Minnesota Crookston is coming off their first win in the
Kyle Halfpop era. The Golden Eagles defeated Minot State 3-2 Tues., Nov. 5 with goals from
Maggie Peterson (Jr., F, Princeton, Minn.),
Vanessa Shelton (Jr., MF, Tacoma, Wash.), and
Latafale Niumeitolu (Fr., MF, Sandy, Utah). Peterson accounted for four points on the day with one goal and two assists against the Beavers. Minot State is one-year removed from a NCAA Division II Tournament appearance.
Peterson leads the Golden Eagles with nine points, as she has accounted for three goals and three assists in a stand-out junior season.
Kiya Gere (So., D, Vancouver, Wash.) has chipped in a goal and two assists.
Paige Pettit (Sr., D, St. Michael, Minn.), Shelton, and Niumeitolu have each added a goal, while
Samantha Donnay (Fr., MF, Princeton, Minn.) has two assists.
In goal,
Athena DiMario Done (Jr., GK, Windsor, Ontario) enters the final game of the season with a 3.31 goals against average with 111 saves. DiMario Done recently moved up to third all-time in saves with 234, surpassing Rana Scnalon for fourth and Cassie Ulmer for third all-time. She needs just 44 saves to move past Lexie Gauger for second all-time in career saves.
Friday will also be Senior Day for the Golden Eagles. Minnesota Crookston already honored
Mika Rodriguez (Sr., MF/F, Laveen, Ariz.), as she it a conference for school this week. Minnesota Crookston will honor Pettit and
Jacqueline Burke (Sr., D, Anchorage, Alaska) prior to Friday's game.

Bemidji State Preview
Bemidji State comes in with an 11-5-1 (7-3 NSIC) mark. The Beavers are currently fourth in the NSIC standings. The Beavers earned a 1-0 win over Northern State University Sunday, but fell 1-0 to MSU Moorhead last Friday.
Bemidji State is led by Sara Wendt with nine goals and four assists. Alanna Mattson has chipped in four goals, while Erin Becker has three goals and an assist. Megan Majewski has been a key facilitator for the Beavers with one goal and five assists.
Bemidji State has scored 21 goals on the year, while allowing 12 to their foes.
In goal, the Beavers have utilized both Emma Riedi and Alyssa Stumbaugh. Riedi has started the last 10 matches for Bemidji State. Riedi has posted a 0.67 goals against average with 47 saves, while Stumbaugh has a 0.74 goals against average with 25 saves for the Beavers.
Bemidji State is in their 18
th season under Head Coach Jim Stone, who led the Beavers to their first in the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2018.
