Box Score Minot, N.D.- The University of Minnesota Crookston soccer team hit the road for a Friday night conference game where they were defeated 8-0 by Minot State University. The loss drops the Golden Eagles NSIC record to 0-4, 0-6 overall.

Athena DiMario Done (Windsor, Ontario) got her first start in goal where she faced 26 Beaver shots, 12 of which made it on goal. The freshman made five total saves, but allowed seven goals before giving way to
Olivia Puttin (So., Rogers, Minn.) who played the final 20 minutes allowing one goal on one shot.
The Beavers opened up the game's scoring in the fourth minute of play and they continued the pressure through all 90 minutes of regulation as they scored their final goal with 24 seconds remaining on the clock. Eight different MSU players scored in the conference match with Jordyn Cook (Fr., Long Beach, Calif.) and Andrea Franco (Jr., Long Beach, Calif.) leading the way with a goal and assist each.
The Golden Eagles will return home to Crookston for their next match as they host the University of Mary on Sunday. The NSIC match is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm, on the campus of the University of Minnesota Crookston.
