#ItIsVeryCleary
UMC freshman guard Harrison Cleary is off to a phenomenal start to his career. The Oak Creek, Wis. native made an instant impression with 34 points in his collegiate debut on the road at Southwest Baptist. Cleary is coming off one of his toughest weekends last time out, but he is still performing well for the Golden Eagles. He leads the entire NSIC with 20.8 points per game. Cleary is shooting 49.0 percent from the field and 37.9 percent from beyond the arc.

#KobeAtThePoint
UMC sophomore point guard Kobe Critchley leads the offense for the Golden Eagles. Critchley is doing a bit of the dirty work for UMC as of late. Critchley is averaging 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game over the last two for the Golden Eagles. On the season, Critchley is averaging 7.7 points per game. He will look to continue to improve heading into this weekend against Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State.

#TakeAGamble

#Tidbits

- Minnesota Crookston comes into the weekend with a 5-8 mark on the season. The Golden Eagles have already surpassed their win total from last season and continue to grow as a team. UMC is looking to consistently put together a full 40 minutes of basketball. Last weekend, it was key lapses during the game that helped Upper Iowa and Winona State to wins. UMC will look to limit those lapses heading into this weekend.

- The Golden Eagles are shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from beyond the arc. UMC is averaging 72.7 points per game on the season. Defensively, the Golden Eagles are giving up 75.2 points per game and allowing opponents to shoot 45.5 percent from the field.

- UMC had good moments in both their earlier games this season against St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth. The Golden Eagles led by nine points with 11 minutes left against St. Cloud State before allowing SCSU to go on a 30-10 run in the final eight minutes of the game. St. Cloud State hit six three-pointers in the final eight minutes.

- The Golden Eagles fell 75-67 to Minnesota Duluth. They made a late comeback effort but fell short due to missed free throws. UMC shot 43.3 percent from the field and 29.2 percent from beyond the arc on the game.

- Minnesota Duluth comes into the weekend with a 3-10 mark. The Bulldogs are very similar to the Golden Eagles as they have a major youth movement. UMD has 12 underclassmen on their roster this season. UMD has made some changes to their line-up in recent weeks. They have moved Trenton Krueger, Cody Tomlinson and Luke Harris to the starting line-up. Since the last UMC game, the Bulldogs have been without guard Trevor Entwisle. The Bulldogs are led by Harris 11.2 points per game in the post. Kyle Schalow is tallying 8.5 points per game.

- St. Cloud State comes into the weekend with a 10-6 (6-1 NSIC) mark. The Huskies have been led by their guard court. They look to Gage Davis' 20.8 points per game, while Scottie Stone is averaging 18.1 points per game. The Huskies are shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 36.9 percent from beyond the arc. They are averaging 81.9 points per game.
