1. Can UMC's 16 seniors go out on a strong note?

2. Will they be able to get the ball in the hands of their big three (Person, Connette and Stewart)?

3. Can the UMC defense get to BSU
quarterback Jordan Hein?

4. Can the run defense slow down the two-headed attack of Tahi Nomane and Gena Adams?

5. Who will make the game changing play?

UMC senior running back Andre Person has had an up-and-down senior season. He has rushed for 626 yards on 182 carries with three touchdowns. He will look to move past fellow Detroit-native Richard Haley to break into the top five for rushing touchdowns. He has 13 in his career and only needs one to tie Richard and two to tie Keith McBride for fourth.

#TheStandard
Junior Wide Receiver Adam Connette is leading all-time receiver in UMC history after surpassing career marks for receptions and receiving yards earlier this season. Connette needs 11 touchdowns to set the career touchdown mark. Connette has been the leading offensive threat for the Golden Eagles with 64 catches for 708 yards and four touchdowns. He also threw his first touchdown pass of the season last weekend against Northern State, proving his diverse skill set. Connette needs just five receptions and 40 receiving yards to set the single-season receiving records in those two categories.

#MisterArmstrong
UMC defensive end Isaiah Armstrong has had a big senior season for the Golden Eagles, elading the way with 5.5 sacks on the season. He also has 5.5 tackles for loss on the year. Armstrong will look to go out on a strong note against a good Bemidji State team on Saturday.

After coming off the bench in recent weeks, Ali Alkhatib is again scheduled to earn the start against Bemidji State. Alkhatib has a strong season defensively for the Golden Eagles with 72 tackles, nine tackles for loss and four forced fumbles. He has made some big hits on the season, so while not quite the hits of another Ali (Muhammad Ali), he too ocasionally can "Sting Like A Bee"

- Bemidji State will wrap up the 2016 season on Saturday at Bemidji State University as they battle for the Hubcap. The Golden Eagles have not won the Hubcap since Oct. 5, 2013 with a 16-14 win over the Beavers. This will be the first meeting between Mike Fritze and Interim Head Bemidji State Football Coach Brent Bolte, who replaced Jeff Tesch as the Head Coach. Bolte is a long-time defensive coordinator on Tesch's staff.

- The Golden Eagles struggled their last time out with a 66-14 loss to Northern State. Minnesota Crookston will look to correct turnover woes that they had against the Wolves. UMC would turn the ball over five times last Saturday against Northern State. They will have to limit those turnovers against a strong Bemidji State team that had been ranked earlier this season.

- UMC quarterback Nathan Cole will get his final start for the Golden Eagles. Cole will finish his career in several record books as a quarterback. He is joined by 15 other seniors who will wrap up their careers on Saturday against Bemidji State.

- The Golden Eagles have three main offensive threats that they will look to get the ball to on Saturday with Adam Connette, Rod Stewart and Andre Person. Connette has 64 catches for 708 yards this season, Stewart has 30 catches for 485 yards and Person has rushed for 626 yards.

- UMC kicker Mike Maw will also play his final collegiate game. Maw will go down as one of the best kickers in program history as he is currently No. 2 all-time in field goals and extra points. Maw is 7-of-11 with a long of 36 yards this season.

- Bemidji State will be led by quarterback Jordan Hein, along with their two running backs Gena Adams and Tahi Nomane. Hein has passed for 2,412 yards and rushed for 358 this season. Adams is approaching 1,000 yards rushing this season with 919 on the year, while Nomane has 534 yards. Hein's top targets in the passing game are Juwaan Richard and Blake Holder.

- Defensively, look out for corner Gunner Olszewski, who has 78 tackles and three interceptions this year. BSU also looks to Damon Beham with six interceptions and Kameel Al-Khouri with three interceptions.

- On the pass rush, Bemidji State looks to Alex Burgess, who leads the team with 10 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. In addition, watch for Jake Wirsching, Jamison Evans and Jeff Harris to have an impact on the pass rush.
