The Golden Eagles opened up the scoring when
Kallie Gau (Monticello, Minn.,/Early Childhood/Elementary Education) finished off a scramble in front of the net in the 18
th minute of play. The junior midfielder scored her first goal of the 2015 campaign and the marker was assisted by defender
Ellie Brettschneider (So., Lakeville, Minn.).

The Golden Bears outshot UMC 14-7 in the conference match with Golden Eagle goalkeeper,
Lexie Gauger (Jr., Green Bay, Wisc./Criminal Justice) making six total saves. The junior keeper's biggest save came in the 29
th minute of play when she made a diving save, stuffing a CU penalty kick by Taryn MacMillan (Sr., Eagan, Minn.).

Midfielder,
Delaney McIntyre (Sr., Flin Flon, Manitoba/Sport and Recreation Management) gave the Golden Eagles their insurance goal midway through the second frame when she scored off a free kick just outside the box. The score is McIntyre's first of the season.

The 2-4-1, 2-2 in the NSIC, Golden Eagles will return to the home pitch on Sunday when they host #13 Minnesota State University ā Mankato who knocked off Bemidji State University 1-0 this evening. The NSIC match is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm.
