The Golden Eagles fall to 7-10 (3-6 NSIC), while Wayne State improved to 14-3 (7-2 NSIC).The Golden Eagles were led by Kelci Green (R-So., MH, Anoka, Minn.), who had nine kills and hit .238. Maggie Perrel (R-So., RS, New Germany, Minn.) had nine kills and hit .158 for the match). The Golden Eagles would have 26 kills and 13 errors on the match as they hit .138. Setter Sierra Trost (Jr., Ham Lake, Minn.) finished with 25 assists.Defensively, Becca Vandenheuvel (So., DS/Lib., Cannon Falls, Minn.) finished with 13 digs. Kaycie Hagen (So., DS/S, Savage, Minn.) added 12 digs, while Trost had 10 digs.Wayne State was led by Alyssa Frauendorfer, who had 12 kills and hit .647 on the day. Leisa McClintock, Katie Hughes and Alex Opperman had six kills for the evening. McClintock had 35 assists as the Wildcats hit .298 for the match and had 43 kills with nine errors.Defensively, Michaela Mestl led the way with 15 digs, as did Courtney VanGroningen.
