Box Score MANKATO, Minn.- The Golden Eagles four-game unbeaten streak came to an end, Sunday afternoon, as they were knocked off 3-0 by the No. 2 team in the nation, Minnesota State University, Mankato.

The Mavericks entered the game a perfect 7-0 an have only allowed one goal in that span. UMC did not get a score on the board but they did have three solid scoring opportunities, the best came off a shot from frosh midfielder
Nikki Dogan (Grand Forks, N.D./Health Science) who was stopped by State's keeper Molly McGough.

Lexie Gauger (Green Bay, Wisc/Criminal Justice) was a little busier in net for UMC as she made six total saves, all while allowing the three goals. The three Maverick goals were the most scored against the sophomore keeper this year.

After playing six straight dates on the road, the Golden Eagles will finally return to their field next weekend as they host Wayne State College on Saturday and No. 24 Augustana College on Sunday. Opening kick on Saturday is scheduled for 11:00 am and Sunday's match will start at 1:00 pm.
