(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) Women's Soccer team hits the road this weekend for two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) women's soccer matches. The Golden Eagles will travel to Wayne State College (WSC) on Saturday, September 28 and Augustana College (AC) on Sunday, September 29. Saturday's match begins at 11 a.m. while Sundays match begins at 1 p.m.
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 2-4-0 and NSIC record of 0-3-0 after dropping a 1-0 decision to Concordia University, St. Paul on Saturday and a 3-1 decision to eighth ranked Minnesota State University on Sunday. UMC is led by
Nikki Hammond (Sr, F, Nelson, Minn./Health Sciences) who has scored two goals for four points.
Rachel Halligan (Sr, D, Duluth, Minn./Early Childhood Education) has scored one goal and added one assist for three points.
Lexie Gauger (Fr, GK, Green Bay, Wis./Criminal Justice) has a 1.40 goals against average and a .800 saves percentage.
Golden Eagles @ Wayne State College Saturday, September 28 11 a.m.
The Wildcats have an overall record of 1-5-0 and NSIC record of 1-2-0 after defeating Minnesota State University Moorhead 1-0 on Sunday. WSC dropped a 5-3 decision to Northern State University on Saturday. Macy Hagen has scored two goals for four points. Kylie Comb has a 3.83 goals against average and a .641 saves percentage.
Golden Eagles @ Augustana College Sunday, September 29 1 p.m.
The Vikings have an overall record of 5-1-0 and NSIC record of 3-0-0 after defeating Minnesota State University Moorhead 6-1 on Friday and Northern State University 3-1 on Saturday. Maren Werth has scored five goals for ten points. Aleisha Oehlerking has scored three goals with three assists for nine points. Annie Thoreson has scored four goals for eight points. Annie Limmer has a 0.96 goals against average and a .778 saves percentage.
