Golden Bears Drop UMC 1-0 in NSIC Women’s Soccer

Box Score (Crookston, Minn.) – Concordia University, St. Paul (CSP) scored one goal in the first half and held on to defeat the University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) 1-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Women's Soccer action today at the UMC Soccer Field.

The Golden Bears struck early as Alahna Anderson took an assist from Liz Darkow to score the decisive goal. Emma Gartner recorded two saves for CSP who improves to 2-3-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the NSIC.

Lexie Gauger (Fr, GK, Green Bay, Wis.) recorded four saves for the Golden Eagles. UMC falls to 2-3-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the NSIC.

The Golden Eagles return to NSIC action on Sunday, September 22 when they host Minnesota State University. The match starts at 1 p.m. at the UMC Soccer Field.
