(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) Women's Soccer team opens their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and home seasons this week. The Golden Eagles travel to Bemidji State University (BSU) for an NSIC match-up on Wednesday, September 11. The match will begin at 7 p.m. UMC plays their home opener on Saturday, September 14 when they host Providence University College and Theological Seminary at the UMC Soccer Field. The match begins at 1 p.m.
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 1-1-0 after splitting a pair of non-conference matches in Michigan's Upper Peninsula last Thursday and Saturday. Michigan Tech University defeated UMC 2-0 while the Golden Eagles rebounded against Northern Michigan University winning 1-0.
Nikki Hammond (Sr, F, Nelson, Minn.) has scored one goal for two points.
Rachel Halligan has added one assist for one point.
Lexie Gauger (Fr, GK, Green Bay, Wis.) has a 1-1-0 record in net. She has a 1.00 goals against average and .889 saves percentage.

The Beavers have an overall record of 1-0-0 after defeating Missouri Western University 2-0 in their season opener on Friday. Abigail Nyquist has scored one goal and added an assist for three points. Golden Eagles vs. Providence University College Saturday, September 7 1 p.m.
The Pilots are located out of Otterburne, Manitoba. They had an overall record of 2-0 going into Saturday's contest with Canadian Mennonite University. No score was available and no other information was available on the Pilots.
