Golden Eagles Travel to MSU Moorhead and Northern State University

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) Women's Soccer team travels to Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) and Northern State University (NSU) on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 respectively for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matches. The match with the Dragons begins at 12 p.m. while the match with the Wolves begins at 1 p.m.

The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 2-7-1 and NSIC record of 0-6-1 after being defeated by the University of Sioux Falls (1-0) and Southwest Minnesota State University (3-0) this past weekend. They are led by Nikki Hammond (Sr, F, Nelson, Minn./Health Sciences) who has scored two goals for four points. Rachel Halligan (Sr, D, Duluth, Minn./Early Childhood Education) has scored one goal and added one assist for three points. Drew Underdahl (Jr, GK, Zumbro Falls, Minn./Agricultural Business) has a 1.33 goals against average and a .733 saves percentage. Lexie Gauger (Fr, GK, Green Bay, Wis./Criminal Justice) has a 1.36 goals against average and a .808 saves percentage.

Golden Eagles @ MSU Moorhead                             Saturday, October 12                     12 p.m.

The Dragons have an overall record of 0-9-0 and NSIC record of 0-7-0 after dropping 3-0 decision to Winona State University and a 4-3 decision to Upper Iowa University this past weekend. MSUM is led by Erin Nyberg who has scored two goals for four points. Ashley Leintz has a 1.14 goals against average and a .889 saves percentage.

Golden Eagles @ Northern State University             Sunday, October 13                         1 p.m.

The Wolves have an overall record of 6-4-0 and NSIC record of 3-4-0 after dropping 3-0 decisions to Upper Iowa University and Winona State University this past weekend. NSU is led by Allie McDonald who has scored four goals for eight points. Brittany Tietz has a 1.15 goals against average and a .820 saves percentage.
