Box Score (Crookston, Minn.) – With their depth depleted to just one substitute, the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) faced a daunting task when the first place Augustana College Vikings came to Crookston, Minn. for a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC)  homecoming contest today at the UMC Soccer Field. However, the heart and enthusiasm of the Golden Eagles led to a valiant effort as they battled to a 0-0 double overtime tie with the Vikings.

Ashleigh Erdmann (Sr, GK, Crookston, Minn.) was excellent in net stopping all ten of Augustana's shots on goal. Amanda Wagner had one save for the Vikings.

Augustana College moves to 4-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the NSIC. UMC moves to 0-6-1 overall and 0-3-1 in the NSIC.

The Golden Eagles return to NSIC action on Sunday, September 23 when they face Wayne State College at 1 p.m.
