(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team hits the road for the final time this season when they travel to Upper Iowa University (UIU) on Friday, February 17 and Winona State University (WSU) on Saturday, February 18 for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) contests. Tip-offs are scheduled for 8 p.m. and 7 p.m. respectively.
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 7-15 and NSIC record of 3-15 after dropping NSIC games to Bemidji State University (76-57) and the University of Minnesota Duluth (81-55) this past weekend. U of M, Crookston is led by
Akeem Cubie (6-6, Sr, G/F, Minneapolis, Minn.) who is averaging 17.1 points and five rebounds per game.
Jacolby Anderson (6-2, Sr, G, Lancaster, Texas) is averaging 14.9 points per game.
Golden Eagles @ Upper Iowa University Friday, February 17 8 p.m.
The Peacocks have an overall record of 7-15 and NSIC record of 4-15 after dropping an 86-58 decision at Winona State University on Saturday. UIU is led by Tucker Wentzien who is averaging 13.4 points and 7.2 points per game. Sam Elgin is averaging 11.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. The Peacocks defeated the Golden Eagles 61-48 back on January 14.

The Warriors have an overall record of 22-2 and NSIC record of 17-1 after defeating Upper Iowa University 86-58 on Saturday. WSU was ranked third in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) poll. The Warriors are led by Clayton Vette who is averaging 16.3 points and 7.1 points per game. Grant Johnson is averaging 15 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Jon Walburg is averaging 11 points per game. WSU defeated U of M, Crookston 74-57 back on January 13.
