Box Score (Crookston, Minn.)- Bemidji State University (BSU) blew open a close game outscoring the University of Minnesota, Crookston 19-9 to close out the first half and outscoring the Golden Eagles 38-28 in the second half to win a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Men's Basketball game 76-57 tonight in Bemidji, Minn.
The Beavers improve to 17-6 overall and 12-5 in the NSIC. They were led by James Ellisor who scored a game-high 25 points (10-16) and added six rebounds. Lance Rongstad scored 21 points (8-9). Bryce Tesdahl added 11 points (4-5) and dished out 12 assists.
U of M, Crookston falls to 7-14 overall and 3-14 in the NSIC. The Golden Eagles were led by
Akeem Cubie (6-6, Sr, G/F, Minneapolis, Minn.) who scored 16 points (7-11).
The Golden Eagles return to NSIC action on Saturday, February 11 when they travel to the University of Minnesota Duluth. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
