Box Score (Crookston, Minn.)- St. Cloud State University (SCSU) pulled away in the second half outscoring the University of Minnesota, Crookston 35-26 to defeat the Golden Eagles 69-57 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Men's Basketball action tonight in St. Cloud, Minn.
The Huskies were led by Shaun Jensen who scored 19 points (7-11) and five rebounds. Theo Rothstein added 15 points (6-11) and ten rebounds. Tim Bergstraser also scored 15 points (5-6) and pulled down five rebounds for SCSU who improves to 14-2 overall and 10-2 in the NSIC.
U of M, Crookston was led by
Jacolby Anderson (6-2, Sr, G, Lancaster, Tex.) who scored 17 points (7-17).
Akeem Cubie (6-6, Sr, G/F, Minneapolis, Minn.) added ten points (4-6) and five rebounds for the Golden Eagles who fall to 5-11 overall and 1-11 in the NSIC.
U of M, Crookston returns to NSIC action on Saturday, January 21 when they travel to Concordia University, St. Paul. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
