Box Score (Crookston, Minn.)- Augustana College opened up a 2-0 lead at the half and added on more goal in the second half to defeat the University of Minnesota, Crookston 3-0 in a non-conference women's soccer match today in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Vikings got on the board at 21:46 when Kate Timmons scored a goal of a corner kick. Stacy Dally assisted. Aleisha Oehlerking made the score 2-0 at 36:04 as Dally and Kara Bartels assisted. Augustana College closed out the scoring at 66:34 when Payton Pry scored off an assist from Liz Bunkers.
Amanda Wagner recorded three saves for the Vikings.
Amanda Stapleton (Jr, G, Jonesboro, Ark.) recorded 13 saves for the Golden Eagles.
Augustana College improves to 2-2-0. U of M, Crookston falls to 0-3-0.
The Golden Eagles return to non-conference action on Sunday, September 10 when they take on the University of Nebraska-Kearney in Sioux Falls, S.D. Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
