Golden Eagles Women’s Soccer Squad Looks to Continue Success at MSU Moorhead

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team looks to go for its third straight Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) victory when the Golden Eagles travel to Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) on Friday, October 7. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.

U of M, Crookston has won two straight NSIC contests in shut-out fashion defeating Northern State University (1-0) and the University of Mary (2-0) this past weekend. The Golden Eagles are led by Nikki Hammond (So, F, Nelson, Minn.) who has scored four goals for eight points. Jessica Ramirez (Fr, F, Millbrae, Cal.) has scored one goal and added four assists for five points. Amanda Stapleton (Jr, G, Jonesboro, Ark.) has a 1.84 goals against average and a .802 saves percentage with three shut-outs.

Golden Eagles @ MSU Moorhead            Friday, October 7            4 p.m.

The Dragons have an overall record of 6-3-1 and NSIC record of 2-3-1 after dropping a 3-1 contest to the University of Mary before defeating Northern State University 4-1 this past weekend. MSUM is led by Jordyn Wallenborn and Amanda Wurdeman who each have scored five goals and added an assist for 11 points. Carole Brascheyko has a 1.34 goals against average and .774 saves percentage. Victoria Hoffman has a 0.78 goals against average and a .833 saves percentage.
